No modern woman in her right mind would allow a date to pay for everything unless she was sure HE was getting lucky. Ladies start bringing your wallets/pocketbooks to dates. Don't be a slag.
Someone sounds rather cynical. I think that if someone offers to pay it is often a gesture of good faith, not that of an expectation. There are ‘givers’ in the world you know- not just ‘takers’. I think the ideal person is the right amount of both. Don’t stifle the ‘giver’.
